The Lister Tuning experience starts with discovery. Lister will discuss your needs and wants to develop a bespoke tuning package for you. Once booked into one of our limited tuning slots an invite is sent to visit our Lister Tuning Division HQ, with a range of historic and modern performance vehicles on display.   

Lister Motor Company is Britain’s oldest racing car manufacturer and was Britain’s most successful sports racing car of the 1950’s. Lister had race wins at almost every circuit in Britain, which led to them being virtually unbeatable in the UK, overseas, and in the USA.  

The ‘Cars from Cambridge’ designed and built by Brian Lister, were simply the best of their kind and dominated the field with the legendary Archie Scott Brown and Sir Stirling Moss driving. 

With over 60 years of engineering excellence, Lister launched the Lister Tuning Division and re-defined two modern supercars, the Lister LFT & the Lister Stealth, both road-going limited edition models that offer breath-taking performance and styling based on the F-Type and F-Pace. 

The Lister Tuning Division, based in the heart of Lancashire, is now able to provide bespoke tuning packages, specialising in Jaguar Land Rover V8 engines, with proven results in a wide variety of sports, classic, and supercars. The Lister Tuning experience is available to anyone seeking performance upgrades. 

Upon arrival, Lister will carry out a short road test with you to see how your vehicle is performing before entering the Tuning Workshop. A further inspection of any components relating to any tuning will take place.    

On completion of the road test and component inspections the tuning process will begin, usually taking 2-4 hours, depending on the stage selected. On completion, a further road test will take place to make sure your vehicle has accepted the tune correctly and that the Lister Technician is happy. A final test is carried out with you before the vehicle is handed over.   

To complete the Lister Tuning Experience, a Lister Motor Company certificate of authenticity is provided for your records. 

Uniquely, we are able to provide a warranty with our tuning work even whilst the car is still under manufacturer’s warranty, through our sister company Warrantywise. Should a car require any remedial work deemed to be as a result of our tuning activity, so not covered by the manufacturer, we will cover that through Warrantywise – the UK’s market-leading vehicle warranty provider
