The New Sportscar eXperimental benefited from advanced aerodynamics and styling inspired by the F-16 fighter jet cockpit. More famously, it received input in its final development stages by none other than the legendary Formula One World Champion, Ayrton Senna.
The NSX was the first general production car to feature an all-aluminium semi-monocoque and this NA2 version of is powered by an all-aluminium 3.2 litre V6 engine, featuring Honda’s VTEC (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control) system. Power is delivered to the road via a 5-speed manual transmission, furthering the driving experience influenced by Ayrton Senna
This Honda NSX is probably the best example in the country currently. It was registered on 31/3/2005 and currently has covered only just over 28,600 miles. Its condition and paintwork suggest it was driven with utmost care by its three previous owners.
Testimony to its development heritage, it is finished in Formula Red with Tan Hide. It comes complete with a full Honda history complete with evidence of cambelt changes, all its MOT information from day one and all the relevant invoices. It has the original service pack and handbooks complete with the red key in a unmarked folder.
It is number 6 of only 19 UK right hand drive fixed headlamp facelift cars so would suggest a Honda NSX like this will not be repeated with its history, low mileage and outstanding condition.
