This car is one of only 350 built to celebrate the triumph of Jaguar in the 1987 World Sports Car Championship and the 1988 victory at Le Mans by Jaguar and TWR.
Many of these special Jaguar XJS’s went into private collections never to be seen again. As such, we are delighted to offer to market a true piece of British motoring history that would be an excellent ownership experience as a standalone car, in any collection, or as a car any committed Jaguar collector should have.
The car has a distinctive body kit, special alloy wheels and uprated suspension for improved handling over the standard XJS in period.
This car registered on 15/5/1989 and has covered 12827 miles by only two owners. It finished in Artic Blue with Champagne leather and Green Piping with a documented service history along with all the press releases and marketing materials of the time, as well as the spare keys and service pack all kept in a matching Champagne Leather folder. It also has a fitted Jaguar car cover and a period picnic basket.
The condition of this car, as you would expect is outstanding and belies it’s age. This “Big Cat” is truly a car that anybody would be proud to own and enjoy, whilst maintaining a piece of history of the Jaguar marque and its motor racing pedigree.
